Queens’ MarketPlace takes “Black Friday” shopping to a colorful new level with a rainbow of holiday hues and sparkle, Friday, Nov. 26.

From 9:30 a.m.-9:30 p.m., popular shops and restaurants offer great savings of 20-75 percent off regular prices. Plus, new, contemporary decorations throughout the center create vibrant backdrops for family portraits.

A kickoff to the holiday shopping season, “Aloha Friday” begins a fun series of festivities at Queens’ MarketPlace, as a special gift to the Big Island community.

Events include a live remote broadcast with the “Big Island Big Morning Show” hosts from Lava 105 radio on Dec. 17, “Breakfast with Santa” on Dec. 18 and photo-taking with Santa Claus Dec. 18-23. Photos posted on the Queens’ MarketPlace Facebook page will be entered to win a $50 gift certificate.
