The Hawaii County Council has scheduled a public hearing for 3 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 28 to discuss Resolution 405-10, Draft 2.

The Resolution authorizes the exemption of certain Hawaii County Code requirements … for the proposed Kamakana Villages at Keahuolu Master-Planned Mixed-Use Affordable Housing Project.

The public hearing will be held in Kona at the Sheraton Keauhou Bay Resort. Testimony will also be available through videoconferencing in Hilo at the County Council room and at the County Council office in Waimea.

Testimony may be given orally or in writing. Those offering written testimony are asked to provide 14 copies.
