The girls state volleyball tournament kicks off this week with two Big Island schools seeded fourth.
Big Island Interscholastic Federation champions Kamehameha-Hawaii and Hawaii Preparatory Academy have each been awarded 4th seeds.
The Division I tournament runs Wednesday through Saturday on Maui. BIIF champion Kamehameha-Hawaii (14-2) and runner-up Waiakea (15-1) will represent the league.
The Division II tournament is Wednesday through Saturday on Oahu. HPA, runner-up Ka‘u (10-7) and third-place Honokaa (10-3) are representing the BIIF.
