Construction at Pahoa Solid Waste Transfer Station (Oct. 25)

MEDIA RELEASE

The Pahoa Solid Waste Transfer Station will be closed temporarily due to construction Monday, Oct. 25.

The transfer station, currently undergoing a $3.9 million renovation project, is normally open during the construction project but will need to close Monday.

The transfer station is scheduled to reopen Tuesday, Oct. 26.

During the temporary closure on Monday, residents are encouraged to utilize the Keaau and Kalapana Transfer Stations.
