Gov. Hidehiko Yuzaki, four Hiroshima Prefecture officials, Chairman of the Prefectural Assembly Masao Hayashi, seven other assembly members and two prefectural assembly secretariats used their visit to the Big Island to promote the relationship between Hawaii and Hiroshima.

This was the governor’s first visit to Kona since he was elected to his first term as Hiroshima’s governor in November 2009.

On Oct. 13, the Kona Hiroshima Kenjin Kai hosted the delegation at a luncheon at Huggo’s. Attending the luncheon were board members from the Kona Hiroshima Kenjin Kai and three others members who were students in the international youth exchange program.
