There’s plenty going on at The Green Market!

Another opportunity to buy and sell local is upcoming: Green Clean VI is Oct. 2 at Antiques and Orchids in Captain Cook, next to Farm and Garden. The Green Clean is Community Recycle Rummage Sale with a special focus on antiques and collectibles. Clothes, housewares, tools, and much more.

Come join us for a great morning of treasure hunting from 8 a.m.-2 p.m. Spaces are still available to sell your gently used garage sale items, just $20 for a 10 x 10 space. Call 328-8797 to reserve a spot.

Saturdays are about to become even more fun! Da’ Saturday Arts & Crafts Fair is coming to South Kona beginning Oct. 9. Big Island artists are coming together to provide one-stop shopping for your “Buy Local Holidays.” Spaces are going fast but a few can still be had at $20 each. Call for details and requirements and pass the word!

Sunday, Oct. 31 is HallowGreen at The Green Market! Details are still being worked out, but keep watching your email for all the fun. Costumes, treats, contests and great live music from Guitar / Ukulele artist, Bolo. Check www.SKGM.org for all the musical artists scheduled.

Nov. 21 will be The South Kona Green Market’s 3rd Annual “Feast In The Field.” The Sunday before Thanksgiving is the day our vendors and customers come together for a pot luck feast. If you would like to participate, come see the Manager at the Green Market on Sunday.

Nov. 28, the Sunday after Thanksgiving is Green Sunday at the Green Market. Why should the big box stores and national chains have all the fun with Black Friday? Join us for prizes, special pricing, and a grand kick-off for all your local holiday shopping.

The South Kona Green Market provides a a place to educate, connect, and support a sustainable island community through locally produced agricultural and hand-crafted products. Join us at the Kealakekua Ranch Center in Captain Cook behind ChoiceMart and Ace Hardware.
