MEDIA RELEASE

“An Old Hawaii Night” – a Family Support Hawaii Gala Benefit

Celebrate Old Hawaii and support Family Support Hawaii on Saturday, Nov. 6 at Waikoloa Marriott. Family Support Hawaii (formerly Family Support Services of West Hawaii) provides services islandwide to help families and children.

Stroll with a complimentary glass of premium wine (or soda, if you prefer) or no-host cocktails, chat with friends, and delight in the amazing silent auction focusing on Hawaiiana, bringing many items home to the islands!

Dinner begins with Caesar salad, followed by your pre-ordered choice of rib eye steak with Hamakua mushrooms and merlot demi glaze, or blackened salmon with a smoked pineapple sake vinaigrette, or grilled portobello mushroom and vegetable stack with spicy tomato couli. Premium wines accompany dinner.

Dessert? White and dark chocolate mousse in a raspberry chocolate cup with a chocolate drizzle.

The room and tables will be elegantly decorated. Auctioneer Pat Batchelder will conduct the live auction following dinner, with some excellent Old Hawaii artwork, koa furniture (already commissioned), and collectibles from a bygone era – plus some pretty cool vacation and golf packages.

Pre-reserve a table with friends or reserve by the seat, and we’ll seat you with new or old friends. Live Hawaiian music, a delightful evening reminiscent of old Hawaii.

Call 326-7778 or email aohn@familysupporthawaii.org. Reserve a room at Waikoloa Beach Marriott, call 808-886-6789.

All proceeds support the programs of Family Support Hawaii, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
