Save the date: Christmas at Kona Village (Dec. 4)

Exclusive Kona Village Resort rolls out the red—and green—carpet for the Big Isle’s premier holiday gala, Christmas at Kona Village, Dining with the Chefs 5:30-8 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 4. Annually presented by the American Culinary Federation (ACF) Kona Kohala Chefs Association, the elegant extravaganza marks its 22nd year.

More than 20 top Hawaii chefs will use primarily locally sourced ingredients to prepare tantalizing cuisine—all accompanied by handcrafted ales, wines and 100 percent Kona coffee. Under the stars, enjoy island music and an exciting live auction of exclusive, private dinner parties and receptions expertly hosted by local chefs.

Proceeds from the live auction and ticket sales benefit scholarship assistance to student culinarians at Hawaii Community College-West Hawaii, Big Island high schools and to qualifying members for continuing education.

Attendance to the culinary affair of the holiday season is limited to 500 and reduced ticket prices are $75 per person. In addition, reserved tables of 10 are available for $1,000.

Tickets will be sold starting Oct. 15; charge tickets by phoning 329-2522. They can also be purchased at Kailua Candy Company, Clark Realty/Kona, Kona Wine Market, Café Pesto-Kawaihae, Café Pesto Hilo and Kona Village Resort.
