It was a battle of two unbeaten girls’ Division I teams at a packed Kamehameha-Hawaii gym Tuesday (Sept 14). The winner of the Waiakea Warriors and Kamehameha Warriors match would have sole possession of first place in the BIIF Division I standings.

Kamehameha took the first two sets in dominating fashion with set scores of 25-13 and 25-18. In the third set the Waiakea offense woke-up and battled Kamehameha taking the set 25-19. Waiakea continued the momentum and took the fourth set. In the fifth set both teams fought hard with the Waiakea girls edging host Kamehameha.
