Developer reduces prices on KaMilo homes

MEDIA RELEASE

Top Hawaii economist, Paul Brewbaker of TZ Economics, issued a mid-year Real Estate update for Hawaii’s leaders in the Real Estate community last month, where he announced, “now is the time to buy.” The combination of historically low interest rates and low home prices across the state makes purchasing a home in Hawaii an attractive possibility for many.

“At some point rates will probably begin to rise again, so the window of opportunity is finite. It may only last another year or so,” Brewbaker said.

Brookfield Homes Hawaii, a Hawaii Real Estate developer, simultaneously announced it has only three built homes remaining for purchase in its community, KaMilo in the Mauna Lani Resort.

KaMilo Unit #212 is now listed for sale at $699,000; reduced from its original list price of $1.2 million. This condominium townhome is an original, developer inventory unit in the spacious Honua B floorplan; a two-story, 4 bedroom/3.5 bath residence with 2,103 square feet of living area.

Based on current market availability, Unit #212 is now the lowest priced home available for purchase in the KaMilo community. The developer, Brookfield Homes Hawaii, is offering Unit #212 and its last two built homes in its inventory at all time low prices before it begins construction on the second of three phases.

Interested parties may obtain more detailed information about KaMilo’s Unit #212 and other available units by calling: (808) 356-2066 or by emailing: rhodges@islandparadiseproperti….

The KaMilo Sales Office is located at: 68-1122 North Kaniku Drive (Mauna Lani Resort) Kamuela, HI 96743. It is open 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday – Friday.

Brookfield Homes Hawaii offers KaMilo at the Mauna Lani Resort, a private, gated enclave containing a mix of single-family and paired homes. KaMilo provides residents with a luxurious resort lifestyle with a focus upon open spaces, outdoor living, awe-inspiring landscapes, and a true sense of community; with multiple pools, a $5 million recreation facility, and all the amenities of a world class resort.

KaMilo offers homes with golf course, mountain, and ocean views, a Monier Madera double-pitched tile roof and spacious, hide-a-way lanai doors. Golf-course frontage, single-family homes open to a private pool and spa, all overlooking the green of Mauna Lani’s North Course.

The KaMilo neighborhood is distinguished by “kama‘aina” architecture that utilizes naturally occurring materials like woods and lava rock, allowing the homes to blend easily with their natural setting. Contemporary Hawaiian design offers the aesthetic of yesterday alongside modern improvements including vaulted, coffered ceilings, natural bamboo floors, Sub-Zero and Wolf appliances in the kitchen, his and hers vanities in the master bath, Kohler plumbing fixtures, and spacious living/great rooms perfect for entertaining.

KaMilo is situated within the Mauna Lani Resort, which is widely recognized as a pacesetter in historic preservation and stewardship of the land. Mauna Lani Resort was named the only U.S. property in North America to be honored as one of the world’s Top Luxury Eco Friendly Beach Destinations by Condé Nast Traveler.

The Mauna Lani Resort is home to the Puako Petroglyph Preserve, ancient fishponds built for Hawaiian royalty, protected marine sanctuaries and more than 3,200 acres of landscaped gardens. Solar energy innovations have earned the resort the distinction of generating the most solar electric power of any luxury resort in the world.
