Police bust in Naalehu finds marijuana and heroin

A Ka’u husband and wife are in police custody facing possible drug charges.

Ka’u patrol officers and officers from the Area II Vice Section served a search warrant at a Mission Road house in Na’alehu at 10:15 a.m. Wednesday (August 11).

Officers recovered 555 marijuana plants ranging from 1-foot to 10-feet high, 6.7 grams of black tar heroin, 15.2 grams of dried marijuana, an “ice” pipe with residue, and various items of drug paraphernalia.

Police arrested two residents of the home, 50-year-old Robert W. Tinao and 55-year-old Gloria Ann Tinao, also known as Gloria Ann Doerr. Both are being held in a temporary detention area at the Ka’u police station while police continue the investigation.

    heroin addicts financing there habit with ganja

    not cool …

    this is what perpetuates the myth that ganja is a gateway drug …

    legalize the herb, and these junkies will have to find something else to sell
