You are invited to attend Keck Observatory’s July Astronomy Lecture, “The Exploration of Other Worlds,” presented by Dr. John Johnson on Thursday, July 22, 2010.

The program begins at 7 p.m. and will take place in Waimea at the W. M. Keck Observatory headquarters at 65-1120 Mamalahoa Highway. Seating is limited to first-come, first served.

Johnson, a professor of astronomy at the California Institute of Technology, will discuss astronomers’ exploration of planets beyond our Solar System and the hunt for distant worlds resembling Earth.
