Cultural festival at Puuhonua o Honaunau (June 26-27)

Puuhonua o Honaunau celebrates the 49th annual Hawaiian Cultural Festival with the theme of ‘Na Hana Lima o na Kupuna,’ or ‘The Working Hands of our Elders.’

The event is 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, June 26 and Sunday, June 27. Park fees are waived for the weekend.

    This is my favorite event of the year. I so appreciate and respect all of the people, arts, and tradition being shared. I am being called to the mainland during June and want to make sure to be back for the festival. Can you tell me the dates for 2011?
