MEDIA RELEASE

HONOLULU – The Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs’ (DCCA) Regulated Industries Complaints Office in Hilo will be open on Friday, July 2, but with limited access by phone (808-933-8846) or by appointment only.

The Hilo RICO is located in the County of Hawai‘i’s Board of Water Supply Building at 345 Kekuanaoa Street. The building will be closed on July 2 due to the county furlough schedule.

In addition to July 2, limited public access to the Hilo RICO office will occur on August 23 and September 3, also due to the county’s furlough schedule. All RICO offices will remain closed on the state’s scheduled furlough days for DCCA. For a complete list of DCCA furlough days, please check www.hawaii.gov/dcca.
