Big Island police are asking for the public’s help in locating a woman who was last heard from on May 14.

Shannon Keliher of Hilo is described as Caucasian, 5-foot-7, 200 pounds with hazel eyes and brown hair. She has a medical condition that requires medication.

Police ask that anyone with information on her whereabouts call Officer Blaine Morishita at 961-2213 or the Police Department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311. Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 961-8300 in Hilo or 329-8181 in Kona. All Crime Stoppers information is kept confidential.

      Well after reading the article. There is no mention that she's "missing". Apparently they just want to check on her welfare. If she's you mother, tell her to contact police to clear this up. Just my .02
