Monk seals on Waimea ReefTalk agenda (June 15)

* The Plight of the Hawaiian Monk Seal: 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 15, Thelma Parker Library, Waimea

The free educational ReefTalk will feature Hooululahui Erika Perry, Big Island Cultural Coordinator, National Marine Fisheries Service. Perry will discuss the new cetacean rehabilitation facility in Hilo, and how you can become involved with rescue and rehabilitation efforts for marine mammals. She will also give an update on the plight of the critically endangered Hawaiian Monk Seal.
