KCH CPR classes in May and June

Kona Community Hospital (KCH) will be offering the Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers on the following Tuesdays – May 25, June 8 and June 22. The four-hour class is 8 a.m.-noon and from 12:30-4:30 p.m. Classes are located in KCH’s Conference Room 3.

Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers is geared toward re-certification of clinical doctors, nurses and healthcare professionals. It covers CPR for infants, children, and adults, AED training, and choking techniques. Participants receive CPR certificates upon completion.

KCH will also have one Heartsaver First Aid Class, an eight-hour first aid and CPR class for community members. It is scheduled for 8 a.m-4:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 16 in KCH’s Conference Room 3. It covers CPR for infants, children, and adults, Automated External Defibrillators (AED) training, choking techniques, and first aid.
