Big Isle athletes stand out at state tournaments

Congratulations to all the Big Island high school athletes who competed in state tournaments this week.

Among the stand-outs are:

Girls state champion: Sayo Tsukumoto of Kealakehe
Girls second place: Kealahehe High School
Boys doubles state champions: Kallen Mizuguchi and Kaito Mizutani of Waiakea
Boys third place: Waiakea High School
