First Hawaiian Bank presents $10,000 to help with Hilo Medical Center’s lobby upgrades

On Friday, April 30, Chuck Erskine presented a $10,000 check on behalf of the First Hawaiian Bank Foundation to the Hilo Medical Center Foundation to will help the hospital replacement the lobby carpet.

“I am very grateful for First Hawaiian Bank Foundation’s $10,000 gift to support upgrading the carpet in the lobby of our community hospital,” said Lori Rogers Executive Director of Hilo Medical Center Foundation. “The Foundation supports this endeavor because the current condition of the lobby does not represent the quality healthcare that the hospital and staff deliver.”

HMCF is a non-profit organization founded in 1995 to support the healthcare of this community and its visitors. The Foundation’s 3rd Annual Golf Tournament will be held July 31, 2010 at the Waikoloa Kings Course.
