Construction at the 118- foot Waipunahina bridge in Hāmākua will involve rebuilding a guardrail that collapsed from the 2006 earthquakes. The bridge will be closed Monday through Friday between the hours of 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Repairs are scheduled to begin Monday (May 3)
