Vulcans finish fourth in PacWest golf tourney on Oahu

The University of Hawaii at Hilo finished fourth at the Hawaiian Airlines Pacific West Conference Championship at the Hawaii Prince Golf Course in Ewa Beach, HI.

Grand Canyon won the team title with an 876. They were followed by Dixie State (889), BYU-Hawii (903), UHH (908), Notre Dame de Namur (914), Academy of Art (917), Hawaii Pacific (933) and Chaminade (1010).

Ryan Felix finished in 6th place after firing a final round 81 to end the tournament at 8-over-par 223 (71-71-81). Isaac Jaffurs (77-74-77) and Logan Goulding (73-73-82) were tied in 15th place at 228 while Christopher Armanini was tied in 22nd place with a 230 (77-75-78). Neil Cabico rounded out the Vulcan squad with a 233 (77-75-81) and in 26th place.

Medalist honors belonged to Grand Canyon’s Terence Daniels who finished with a 4-under-par 212 (72-70-70).
