Vulcans in 8th place at Cal State Stanislaus golf tournament

The University of Hawaii at Hilo is in 8th place after two rounds of the Hanny Stanislaus Invitational hosted by Cal State Stanislaus on the Turlock Country Club (Calif.).

Neil Cabico leads the Vulcan squad with a 2-over-par 146 (72-74) and is tied for 10th place. Ryan Felix is tied for 20th place with a 6-over, 148 (78-70). Also in the mix are Logan Goulding (T37, 77-74=151), Isaac Jaffurs (T41, 80-72=152) and Chris Armanini (83rd, 81-85=165).

CSU San Bernardino’s Gene Webster, Jr. has the second round lead with a 9-under-par 135 (68-67). Cal State Dominguez Hills Cavin McCall is alone in second place and three strokes behind Webster.

Cal Stanislaus leads the Invitational with a 582. They are followed by Grand Canyon (585), Cal State Monterey Bay (586), Sonoma State, Chico State and Cal State San Bernardino (591), Cal Baptist (596), UH Hilo (597), Cal State Dominguez Hills (602), Western New Mexico (603), St. Martin’s (606), Western Washington (608), Cal State East Bay (611), UC San Diego (616), Notre Dame de Namur (627), Academy of Art (628) and Montana State Billings (639).
