Police were still on the scene of a one-vehicle fatal crash in Holualoa at 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 13.

The crash was reported about 4 p.m. and prompted authorities to close Route 180, or Mamalahoa Highway, for a short time. The road was reopen by 8 p.m.

Police confirmed one person was killed in the crash near the 5-mile marker.
