The Board of Land and Natural Resources listened to public testimony both for and against the Mauna Kea Comprehensive Management Plan sub-plans Thursday (March 25) at Imiloa Astronomy Center and voted 6-0 to accept the plans.
BLNR members Laura H. Thielen, Ron Agor, Jerry Edlao, Dr. Samuel M. Gon III, David Goode and John Morgan voted to approve the four CMP sub-plans. Big Island board member Robert Pacheco recused himself from the vote.
