Deadline for Kona Coffee Cultural Festival artwork April 15

The Kona Coffee Cultural Festival is accepting new artwork for consideration at this year’s 40th annual Festival. Selected artwork will be featured on the festival button, poster, T-shirt, Web site, magazine and tabloid.

Artists are invited to submit their artwork conceptualizing this year’s Kona Coffee Cultural Festival theme “Celebrating 40 Years of Kona Coffee Heritage.” The winner will receive a complimentary booth at the Saturday, Nov. 6 Holualoa Village Coffee & Art Stroll.

The Kona Coffee Cultural Festival is recognized and supported as a ‘Major Festival’ by Hawaii Tourism Authority (HTA) as the Festival showcases Hawaii’s unique culture and diversity. HTA was created in 1998 to ensure a successful visitor industry well into the future. Its mission is to strategically manage the growth of Hawaii’s visitor industry in a manner consistent with its economic goals, cultural values, preservation of natural resources and community interests.
