A car sheared a utility pole alongside Waianuenue Avenue near Hilo Middle School Saturday morning (Jan 23).

A utility pole is broken fronting the Hilo Middle School parking lot.

Medics tend to a woman after the car she was driving crashed into a utility pole fronting Hilo Middle School.
