Parking feasibility study underway in Kailua Village

MEDIA RELEASE

Kailua Village Business Improvement District has engaged Goodwin Consulting Group, in collaboration with PBR Hawaii, to begin a parking feasibility study in Kailua Village.

Based on comments that Kailua Village lacks parking, KVBID has determined a systematic approach to analyze parking in the village core, through these experts, will help determine what, if any, deficiencies exist.

Then the District can devise well-planned scenarios for improvement that take into account conventional standards, smart growth, possible alternatives (transit, pedestrian, bike networks, zoning requirements, surface parking, parking structure) as well as employee and ADA parking needs.
