The 2010 Legislature session begins Wednesday, Jan. 20 with no great ceremony.

Lawmakers previously had said they will refrain from the customary activities and ceremony in order to get straight down to business from the very start.

So, there will be no entertainment, no flowers, no festivities or subsequent receptions, as has been the tradition in years past.
