…HIGH SURF ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM HST TUESDAY…

SURF ALONG NORTH AND WEST FACING SHORES OF NIIHAU AND KAUAI…AND ALONG NORTH FACING SHORES OF OAHU MOLOKAI AND MAUI…WILL BE 18 TO 22 FEET THROUGH TONIGHT…SUBSIDING TO HEIGHTS OF 15 TO 20 FEET ON TUESDAY.

SURF ALONG WEST FACING SHORES OF OAHU AND MOLOKAI WILL BE 10 TO 15 FEET THROUGH TONIGHT…LOWERING TO HEIGHTS OF 8 TO 12 FEET ON TUESDAY.

SURF ALONG WEST FACING SHORES OF THE BIG ISLAND WILL BE 6 TO 10 FEET THROUGH TUESDAY…SLOWLY SUBSIDING BELOW ADVISORY LEVELS TUESDAY NIGHT.

SURF ALONG EXPOSED NORTH FACING SHORES OF THE BIG ISLAND WILL BE 10 TO 15 FEET THROUGH TUESDAY…WITH SURF HEIGHTS GRADUALLY DIMINISHING TUESDAY NIGHT.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…

A HIGH SURF ADVISORY MEANS THAT HIGH SURF WILL AFFECT BEACHES IN THE ADVISORY AREA…PRODUCING RIP CURRENTS AND LOCALIZED BEACH EROSION.
