Malu‘aina silent candlelight vigil for peace Wednesday (Dec 23)

MEDIA RELEASE

MALU ‘AINA’S ANNUAL

SILENT CANDLELIGHT

VIGIL FOR PEACE

ALL ARE WELCOME

WHEN: Wednesday, December 23nd. 5pm-6:30pm

WHERE: Highway 11, Fronting Borders in Hilo.

Let us shine a light out to the community as a reminder that while many are shopping and busily preparing for the holidays, others of the human family, all over the globe, are dying and suffering from war, poverty and/or starvation. May the glow of our candles go out as a proclamation of peace and a loving call to care for each other.

COME JOIN US AS WE RAISE A CANDLE FOR THE HEALING OF OUR WORLD

If you can, please bring a peaceful sign and a wind-protected candle or lantern, and be prepared for a chance of rain.
