A HIGH SURF WARNING MEANS THAT DANGEROUS…BATTERING WAVES WILL POUND THE SHORELINE…PRODUCING VERY DANGEROUS SWIMMING CONDITIONS AND DEADLY RIP CURRENTS.
PEOPLE GOING NEAR THE BEACH TO WATCH THE HIGH SURF ARE ADVISED TO REMAIN FAR AWAY FROM THE WATER. WAVES CAN SUDDENLY WASH UP ONTO PREVIOUSLY DRY AREAS. FOLLOW ALL DIRECTIONS FROM WATER SAFETY OFFICIALS AND EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT OFFICIALS.
