If you housesit, you are used to a list of responsibilities and chores. Usually, it’s feed the cats, water the plants and don’t forget to turn the lights off.

This weekend, the list included ‘and please feed the turkeys.’

This is what it looks like.

Fifteen of them, including Mildred, the one-eyed bird with a limp. She gets her own special pile of food.
