Jackson to be honored at KCPC lunch (Nov. 4)


The November “Officer of the Month” luncheon recognizes Officer Erich Jackson.

The lunch is noon Nov. 4 at King Kamehameha’s Kona Beach Hotel.

Jackson will be recognized for his investigative skills and street knowledge that resulted in drugs and dangerous weapons being taken off our streets.

Jackson will also be the featured speaker at the lunch, and will provide an “Illegal Weapons” presentation.

The Kona Crime Prevention Committee encourages community involvement in aiding and supporting the county Police Department in it efforts to prevent crime, deter potential criminals and enforce the law. Membership is open to organizations or individuals wishing to further the purposes of the committee and is effective upon payment of dues.

The public is invited to attend the luncheons held on the first Wednesday of each month. Cost of the luncheon is $20. Parking in the hotel lot is an additional $2.
