Police investigating South Kona burglary

MEDIA RELEASE

The Hawai’i Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying whoever was responsible for a burglary in South Kona sometime between September 24 and September 28.

One or more persons entered a home on Kaohe Drive in the Kona Paradise subdivision and removed jewelry, stereo equipment and a television.

Police ask anyone with information about the case to call Officer Don Takahashi at 326-4646, extension 253, or the Police Department’s non-emergency line at 931-3311. Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 961-8300 in Hilo or 329-8181 in Kona. All Crime Stoppers information is kept confidential.
