Vulcans 5th at Western Washington University Invitational

The University of Hawai‘i at Hilo settled for a 5th place finish at the Western Washington University Invitational on the Bellingham Golf and Country Club (Wash.)

Christopher Arminini fired a final round 3-under-par 69 to finish with a 3-round score of 216 (70-77-69) and a tie for ninth place.

Logan Goulding finished in tied for 15th place at 218 (76-70-72). He was joined by Ryan Felix (T22, 75-72-73=220), Neil Cabico (T24, 75-74-72=221) and *Isaac Jaffurs* (T35, 68-77-78=223).

Fellow Pacific West Conference member Dixie State College won the team and individual title.

The University of Hawaii at Hilo is in sixth place after two rounds of the Western Washington University Invitational at the Bellingham Golf and Country Club (Wash.).

Isaac Jaffurs followed a tournament leading first round 68 with a 77 for a two-round total of 145 and is tied for 13th place.

Logan Goulding’s 70 was the Vulcans’ lowest second round score. With his first round 76, Goulding is tied for 18th place at 146.

Other Vulcans in the field are Christopher Armanini (T22, 70-77=147), Ryan Felix (T22, 75-72=147) and Neil Cabico (T34, 75-74=149).
