University of Hawai’i at Hilo senior goalkeeper Shanna Brown (Fairbanks, AK/Lathrop) has been chosen the Pacific West Conference Women’s Soccer Player of the Week.

The honor was announced by the PacWest Media Office in Phoenix, AZ, on Monday, Sept. 21, for games played Sept. 14-20.

Brown led the Vulcans to a 2-0-0 week and a 1-0-0 start to the PacWest season by tossing a pair of shutouts. She stopped all 10 shots on goal flung her way over 180 minutes of action in a 3-0 blanking of Chaminade on Sept. 14 and a 1-0 win over Hawai’i Pacific on Sept. 19.
