Kirsta Andrew continued where she left off last season finishing first for the University of Hawaii at Hilo women’s cross country team as they finished third at the Hawaii Pacific University held at Kualoa Ranch in Kahaluu, Hawaii.

Andrews finished the 5k route in 19:32 to finish 16th in the 58 runner race. Nina Hagemann finished two spots behind her in 18th place with a time of 19:42.

Rounding out the Vulcan team were Malia Williams (32nd, 21:07), Lauren Vieira (35th, 21:48) and Lilliana DeSmither (43rd, 23:19).

Ucker and Barbis lead Vulcan men

Keoni Ucker finished 11th and Stefano Barbis 12th to lead the University of Hawaii at Hilo to a third place finish at the Hawaii Pacific University Invitational held on the Kualoa Ranch in Kahuluu, Hawaii.

Ucker finished the course in 26:18 while Barbis was five-seconds back.
Zach Johnson was in 21st place (27:52) followed by Nick Hagemann (28th, 29:10) and Justin Pang (32nd, 31:03).
