Vendors sought for Lanihau Center farmer’s market

Lanihau Center in Kailua-Kona will offer a new farmer’s market at the shopping center in October and is seeking vendors of local produce and/or foods, flowers and plants.

The market will be held 7:30-11:30 a.m. the first Saturday of each month, starting Oct. 3.

Space is limited and vendors will be considered on a first come, first service basis. For more information and to apply, contact Margo Takata at 960-1392.

Lanihau, which translates into “Heavenly Shade,” is owned by PRII Westwood Lanihau Center, LLC, and is managed by CB Richard Ellis Hawaii. Opened in 1988, the 88,283-square-foot shopping center is off Palani Road.
