This is a request for help: There was a sketchy report Monday, Aug. 31 of a green algae mass overgrowing corals on a point between Kealakekua and Honaunau.  

Has anyone seen this or something similar, and if so, where?   

Call the Division of Aquatic Resources at 327-6226 before they go out to look for it by boat if you have seen this to give more exact location information.
