MEDIA RELEASE  

Kona Community Hospital will be offering the “Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers” class 8 a.m.-noon and 12:30 p.m.-4:40 p.m. Friday, Aug. 7 and Friday, Aug. 28. 

Each four-hour class will be conducted in Kona Community Hospital’s conference room.  

“Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers” is geared toward re-certification of clinical doctors, nurses and healthcare professionals. It covers CPR for infants, children, and adults, AED training, and choking techniques. 

Participants receive CPR certificates upon completion.
