Tuesday evening (July 28) at 6 p.m. a woman driver and passengers, two children, were involved in a single car accident on Paradise Drive between 8th and 9th Avenues on the Pahoa side of the road.

Firefighters on scene said it appeared the vehicle was headed mauka, ran off the road on the Pahoa side cartwheeling to a stop in thick ferns and brush snapping young trees along the way.
