WAIKOLOA—Waikoloa School Parent-Teacher-Student Association (PTSA) invites the community to come and kick off the new school year with a bang at the Back-to-School Bash Saturday, August 1. The fun, affordable family-friendly event takes place outdoors at the Waikoloa School campus from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Admission is free and everyone is welcome to come and enjoy lots of live entertainment, “Zoo Choo” train rides, food booths, games, great prizes, bouncers, face painting, a dunking booth, silent auction and much more.

Featured entertainer Dru Kekaualua of the band “Kolea” appears onstage, along with a special hula performance by Waikoloa School teachers and staff, guitarist Justin Takayama, Auntie Margie Spencer’s Waikoloa Senior Ukulele Group and the “world premier” of new Waikoloa Cheerleading Squad & Pep Club.

Last year’s highly successful Back-to-School Bash brought hundreds to Waikoloa School to enjoy the day, meet neighbors and help support PTSA’s good works throughout the year. For more information, e-mail or call the school at 883-6808.
