The application deadline to serve on the Disciplinary Board has been extended to July 15Â
Two board positions (one attorney and one non-attorney) are available. These are not compensated and the term would be for three years. Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â
The duties of the Disciplinary Board include governing the Office of Disciplinary Counsel, which investigates alleged grounds for discipline or incapacity of attorneys, and recommending appropriate action to effectuate the purposes of the Disciplinary Rules. Â
Other qualifications include experience in specialized areas that will aid in the evaluation and analysis of complaints and recommendations for discipline, and a willingness and ability to perform the necessary duties of the Board.
