Three of ‘Hawaii Island’s Most Wanted’ found

20090630_most-wanted-foundThe Hawai’i Police Department has located three men recently featured on the television program “Hawai’i Island’s Most Wanted.”

Craig Dubczak, who was featured on the most recent edition, was arrested on June 6 and charged with third-degree assault for an incident in Pāhoa Village on April 10.

Michael David Negrini, who was featured on the program in September 2008 and again on May 6 of this year, was arrested on June 16 on the strength of a grand jury indictment and charged with harassment, trespassing, open lewdness, criminal property damage and two counts of assaulting a police officer.

Alexander Aehegma was arrested on June 16 by sheriffs on Oahu for violating terms of conditional release in a kidnapping, sexual assault and felony abuse case.

“The Police Department is grateful for the tips from the public that helped us find these wanted men,” said Assistant Chief Henry Tavares, who hosts the TV show.

“Hawai’i Island’s Most Wanted” is a project of Crime Stoppers Hilo, Inc., which is a partnership of the business community, the media and the police. It was inspired by the national TV show, “America’s Most Wanted.”

The program airs on Na Leo O Hawai’i Community Television Channel 54 on Sundays at 5 p.m. and Fridays at 5:30 p.m. It also airs intermittently on Channel 53.
