Results of the USGA Girls Junior Sectional qualifier held at Mauna Lani’s North Course on the Kohala Coast of the Big Island. Tees – White (6156 yards) Par: 36 – 36 = 72 Winds were constant 20-25 mph throughout the day.
Alina Ching (Honolulu) shot a three-over 75 to claim medalist honors in breezy conditions today at Mauna Lani Resort. Cassy Isagawa (Wailuku) finished with a 78 and Serena Aoki (Japan) shot 80 to claim the remaining two qualifying berths. All three girls will travel to the National Championship being held at Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, New Jersey during the week of July 20 – 25th.
Allisen Corpuz, Honolulu, shot a 81 to claim the 1st alternate position. Britney Yada, Hilo, shot a 82 to claim the 2nd alternate position.
