Police make arrests in Ainaloa subdivision in Puna

In a sustained effort to combat property crime and the distribution of illicit drugs in our community, detectives with the Criminal Investigations Division arrested five individuals after serving a search warrant on a home in the Ainaloa subdivision of Puna.

Detectives with the Criminal Investigation Section and Vice Section arrested 26-year-old Dawn Delatore-Ganon, 25-year-old Dean Fishman, 23-year-old Edward Geraghty, 20-year-old Celleste Geraghty and 23-year-old Natasha Flores, all of Puna.

On Thursday afternoon, Delatore-Ganon was charged with first-degree burglary, two counts of third-degree promotion of a dangerous drug, two counts of drug paraphernalia and one count of possession of an electric gun. Her bail was set at $14,000.

Fishman and Edward Geraghty were each charged with third-degree promotion of a dangerous drug and drug paraphernalia. Their bail was set at $4,000 each.

All three were unable to post bail and were held at the Hilo cellblock until early Friday afternoon, when they were taken for the initial court appearances in South Hilo District Court.

Celleste Geraghty, who was arrested for drug offenses, was released pending further investigation.

Flores was arrested in connection with a stolen vehicle investigation but was also released pending further investigation.
