Dept of Health report reveals 33 new novel H1N1 Flu cases

In their weekly novel H1N1 Flu report the Hawaii Department of Health reported 33 new confirmed cases on Oahu. According to the Department of Education, of these cases 31 are children and two are adults from public schools on Oahu.

As of 5 a.m. HST June 3, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reported 11,054 confirmed cases, 17 deaths in 50 states, Washington D.C, and in Puerto Rico.

The World Health Organization reports as of 8 p.m. HST June 2, 66 countries have officially reported 19,273 cases of influenza A(H1N1) infection, including 117 deaths.
