SBA presents new initiatives for small businesses

The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) can help small business owners evaluate their current operations and find programs and resources available to deal with the current economic slump. SBA continues to conduct free, confidential consultations at “SBA Resource Days” presented with area lenders, including one in Hilo.

Discussions may include the latest updates on enhancements of SBA programs through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.

SBA’s experienced staff can explain the federal agency’s guaranteed loan programs, government contracting certifications and other sources for training, business counseling, planning, and technical assistance.

Reservations are recommended for the 30 minute appointments and are available on the dates and at branch locations listed below:
