The Kona Crime Prevention Committee recognized Officer Benjamin Galluppi as “Officer of the Month” in a luncheon ceremony Wednesday (May 6) at King Kamehameha’s Kona Beach Hotel.

Officer Galluppi was honored for his outstanding record in traffic enforcement and DUI arrest numbers.
As “Officer of the Month,” Galluppi is eligible to become “Officer of the Year.”
The Kona Crime Prevention Committee is an organization that encourages community involvement in aiding and supporting police in West Hawai’i .
