Fire/Rescue crews responded to a 9:25 a.m. alarm for a passenger sedan which struck and brought down a utility pole on Palani Road near Hao Kuni Street Sunday, April 26. The 48 year-old driver sustained a minor hand injury in the single vehicle accident.

Palani Road was closed between Hinalani Street and Uluaoa Street while power, cable and telephone crews made repairs to utility lines. Palani Road was re-opened at 8:15 p.m.
